Behind the Brand: How It All Started!

Smile! You’re awesome! We’re so excited you’re here to learn about how a spontaneous spark of joy turned into something magical.

It all started when we decided to plan a wedding with 200 of our closest friends and family…in just 57 days. Yes, you read that right—57 days! But we didn’t just want a wedding, we wanted a celebration that would leave people smiling long after they left. When it came time to think about wedding favors, we knew we wanted to create something that wouldn’t just sit on a shelf, but something that could spread joy to the world.

Then, it hit us—light bulb moment—what if we designed t-shirts that radiated joy, not just for the wedding day, but every day after? What if these shirts could make anyone who saw them smile, spark conversations, and share a little more joy with the world?

With that idea, the “Choose Joy T-Shirt” was born. We handed them out at the wedding as a heartfelt ‘thank you’ to everyone who had traveled near and far to be part of our day. But what happened next? Well, that’s when the magic really began.

In the weeks and months that followed, we started getting texts and calls from our guests. They told us how total
strangers stopped them in the street, drawn by the positive message on their shirts, and how those small moments made their day.
Some said it ignited conversations that led to laughter. Others said it was the perfect reminder of the joy they needed right then and there.

After hearing story after story, it was clear: these shirts were more than just a wedding favor—they were little bursts of happiness,
spreading joy far beyond our special day. And that’s when we knew that we had to do something bigger.

We had to spread this joy to the world.

So, with full hearts and big smiles, we decided to make these shirts the first product in our
t-shirt company—part of our mission to share joy, one smile at a time.
